Leading Malaga based Software company have a great opportunity for an experienced Application Analyst to join their southern spain head office.
What you’ll be doing…
• Troubleshoot and solve operational issues with our Intranet applications
• Document and train users on optimal configuration and use of our Intranet and key productivity applications
• Monitor the underlying software architecture to proactively manage application issues
• Analyze software applications to help improve system reliability and scalability
• Participate in the evaluation, implementation, installation, and documentation of new corporate applications
• Test and apply application updates
• Be the main liaison for application support issues
• Improve the documentation of our internal systems
What we’re looking for…
• Solid understanding of Microsoft and Unix operating systems
• Knowledge and experience of scripting languages (e.g., sh, bash, perl)
• 1 – 2 years experience supporting and or developing applications running on MSSQL and MySQL
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot various system and network issues
• Experience creating training documentation and delivering technical training
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well within a support team and offer exceptional customer service
• Degree or diploma in computer science/technology or related education and experience
