A Guardia Civil rescue team have found the body of Alfonso HG, 26, from Cerezo de Río Tirón (La Rioja), who went missing while snowboarding at the Valdezcaray ski resort late on Tuesday afternoon.
His body was found shortly after midday off the main piste buried in snow. Dozens of officers took part in the search operation, supported by a sniffer dog unit and two helicopters.
