Three killed in helicopter crash near Lorca

Three people, whose identities have not been confirmed, died at around 1pm this afternoon when the helicopter they were travelling in crashed in a mountainous, wooded area near the town of Lorca in Murcia.
According to a spokesman for the emergency services, the Robison 244 helicopter was owned by the Centros Ecológicos Andarax SL company, whose headquarters are located in Perchina (Almería).
The crash started a forest fire, which is being dealt with, at the moment, by local firefighting teams, one Civil Protection Department helicopter and a UME emergency medical team.
