| Police yesterday undertook a second search of a luxurious house on the La Loma estate (photo) between the towns of Los Alcázares and Torre Pacheco in Murcia, which is owned by Juan Antonio Roca, the man allegedly behind the Marbella corruption scandal. Police sources revealed that they had uncovered four specially concealed areas in the house, and inside one of these was a briefcase that contained €200,000 in €500 notes.
Meanwhile, it was revealed yesterday that the new head of Marbella town council will be lawyer Diego Martin, who was nominated by the socialists and supported by the IU and PA parties, with the PP abstaining. He will remain as president of the administration committee appointed to manage the council's affairs until the next round of local elections in May next year. |
