The governments of Spain, the UK and Gibraltar announced yesterday that an "understanding" has been reached concerning the airport, pensions, telecommunications and border transit issues, and that a ministerial meeting will be arranged for the 18th September, when an agreement will be signed.

It was also announced that at the meeting, the first of the Ministerial Forum of Tripartite Dialogue about Gibraltar, a second phase of negotiations will begin.

It has not yet been confirmed where this meeting will take place.
