| Terminally-ill children’s dreams could be realised thanks to a new charity that has opened in Jávea. The Matthew David Gardner Brown Foundation, based on the calle Mali, arranges for sick children’s wishes to come true, no matter what these may be. UIT the consent of the parents or guardians, and medical staff treating the child, the charity sets about arranging anything from flying a helicopter to meeting a famous actor.
A spokesperson for the charity, which covers the full costs of the child’s chosen wish, says: “whether it’s to have a bike or a computer, be a pilot or a policeman for a day, meet a famous footballer or even an entire team, ride a horse or fly in a helicopter or travel to any part of the world, we put the wheels in motion to make it come true, always keeping it secret from the child so that the surprise is greater and it brings a more positive effect.” |
