|  A team of regional police flying squad officers swooped to evict seven youths from a squat on the calle Metges in Barcelona's Ribera district this morning.
A police statement informs that the operation was carried out between 7-9am and passed off without incident.
For their part, a spokesman for the squatters alleges that four of their number were punched and beaten with truncheons during the eviction, though police refute the accusation. |
