| Sonsoles Espinosa made the most of her visit to Naples where she is accompanying her husband, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, who is taking part in the 15th Hispano-Italian summit, by visiting Pompeii, the legendary Roman city entombed by lava from nearby Mount Vesuvius on the 24th August, 79 AD.
Accompanied by Flavia Prodi, wife of Italian prime minister, Romano Prodi, and a number of other women whose husbands are also attending the summit, Ms Sonsoles spent an interesting few hours at the site before visiting some of Naple's other tourist attractions, rounding off her morning with lunch at the famous 'Brandi' restaurant, where they claim to have created the Pizza Marguerita. |
