| Police in Sao Paulo have recovered paintings by Picasso and Brazilian artist, Cándido Portinari, stolen from Sao Paulo Art Museum on the 20th December.
Picasso's 'Portrait of Suzanne Bloch' and Portinari's 'Coffee labourer', which have a combined estimated market value of around fifty million US dollars, were found last night.
The two robbers, who have been detained, took less than three minutes to steal the paintings, which were taken as museum security staff were being relieved at the end of their shift. |
