Two British men in their twenties were arrested at Palma airport last Saturday accused of the murder of a third British man, who was stabbed to death at an apartment in Magaluf earlier the same day.

It seems that the victim, who was killed on his 26th birthday, had been involved in a bar-room brawl with one of the men a few days previously, that was broken up by the Local Police.

It is alleged that the two detained men, armed with a baseball bat and a knife, forced their way into the victim's apartment at the Playa Mar complex, which is located on the calle Contraalmirante Riera, at around 4am on Saturday morning.

After the attack, they went straight to Palma airport, intending to catch a flight back to the UK.
