| A 9 year old girl died today after banging her head on a pallet after being knocked down by a machine at a sweet factory in Arenas de San Pedro (Avila). The girl had been taking part in an eagerly-awaited school trip.
Guardia Civil, Local Police officers and emergency medics attended the scene, but nothing could be done to save the little girl, who never regained consciouness.
