An 11 year old girl from Molina de Segura has admitted making up a story about being kidnapped by a gang of Moroccans to avoid being punished by her parents for staying out all night.

Her parents advised the Local Police at around midnight on Thursday night when their daughter failed to return from San Anton festivities at the agreed time of 10pm.

She eventually returned home at 5.30am, claiming that she had escaped after being seized by three Moroccan men and driven away in a white van, though subsequent physical and psychological testing revealed the truth.
