| A consortium led by the British property investment group, Propinvest, has agreed to pay €1,900 million euros for the financial city complex in Boadilla del Monte (Madrid) owned by the Banco Santander Group, who will pocket profits of around €605 million.
The deal, which is expected to go through before the end of March, is set to become the largest property transaction ever recorded in Spain.
It is the final phase of a property divestment programme undertaken by the Spanish banking group, who shed €4,400 million euros worth of assets last year, netting greater-than-expected profits of around €1,680 million. |
