Six people, including one child, were all finally rescued safe and well from two cars at 12.40pm today after spending all night trapped in deep snow on the Camino de San Andrés rural road near the town of Almarza in Soria province.

The alarm was raised at 7.05pm yesterday evening, but the rescue operation was hampered by the depth of accumulated snow.
