| A 40 year old man - thought to be a foreigner - drowned while bathing off Puerto Rico beach in Mogán on the island of Gran Canaria at around 5pm yesterday afternoon.
A second man (32) survived and was taken to Arguineguín health centre suffering from minor cuts and bruises.
The body of the dead man was recovered by a Guardia Civil patrol boat while the younger man was taken to shore in a private boat that happened to be in the area. |
