| A million and a half copies of the Spanish version of the seventh and final chapter of the Harry Potter saga, 'Harry Potter y las Reliquias de la Muerte' (HP and the Deathly Hallows), have been printed in preparation for it finally hitting the shelves at 6pm next Thursday, 21st February.
The English version, which was released globally in 93 countries on the 21st July last year, became the fastest-selling book ever, shifting more than eleven million copies in the first 24 hours, beating the previous record, which was set by 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince', which sold nine million on its first day.
The Spanish version will be released simultaneously in Spain and South America, and at the same time as versions in Galician and Catalan. |
