At least ten children and the mother of one of them fell ill after eating a homemade birthday cake at a party at a junior school in Arjona last Tuesday. T

hree children and one of their mothers were treated at the Alto Guadalquivir Hospital in Andújar, and it has since been confirmed that several other children were seen to at a health centre in Arjona.

The cake, which was made by one of the children's mothers is being analysed by experts from the Andalucía Health Services.
