| Murcia's Nicolás Almagro beat top seeded David Nalbandián 6-1, 7-6 last Saturday to win the Mexican Open - his second title of the season following his success at the Brazilian Open earlier this month.
Hitting eleven aces and with a rock-solid baseline game, the Spaniard broke his opponent's serve twice - in the third and fifth games - to take the first set though he managed no further breaks in the second until the tie-break, which he went on to win 6-1.
After the match, Almagro told reporters "I've worked really hard to reach this moment, and now the only thing I want to do is to savour and enjoy it."
