Basque regional police officers have been hunting for the remains of two small bombs that went off near a TV transmitter station located between Azpeitia and Azkoitia in Guipúzcoa province yesterday lunchtime.

Although a warning call by an anonymous ETA representative was made at around 11am, it was not until late yesterday afternoon that the first fragments were found as the search operation was initially hampered by fog and rain.

It seems that one of the explosive devices had been left near the entrance to the station while the second was placed inside.
