A 60 year old construction worker died in Sevilla yesterday morning when he was hit on the head by a large lump of clay that fell from a crane, breaking the victim's plastic hard hat.

The incident occurred at 9.35am on a plot at the junction of the Avenidas Montoto and Menéndez Pelayo (photo), where a block of residential flats is under construction.
