According to a report in today's El Mundo, there are plans in place to install wi-fi routers on all of Madrid's buses before the next regional and municipal elections in 2011.
The initiative will enable passengers with laptop computers to connect to the internet using a password printed on their travel tickets.
The first buses to be fitted with the system are expected to be operative before the start of the summer.
