| An inquiry has been launched into the death of an obese five year old boy at the Virgen de la Arrixaca Hospital in Murcia last Wednesday.
The boy, who weighed 50kg (7st, 12lb), was originally treated for obesity-related health complications at the A&E department of Cartagena's Naval Hospital on March 17th.
The following day, he was moved initially to the Virgen del Rosell health centre only to be transferred to the Virgen de la Arrixaca later the same day, where he remained in the intensive care unit until his eventual death on April 2nd. |
