| Two immigrant construction workers died at around 11am yesterday morning as they were working inside a cave house in the Murcian town of Águilas.
However, owing to the high risk of further subsidence, it took rescuers until just before midnight last night to recover the body of the second man, who had been working deep inside the mountainside into which the house was built.
It seems that the man were crushed under several tonnes of rocks after demolishing a wall at the back of the cave.
The identities of the two men have not been confirmed though it is known that both were middle-aged, and that one was Rumanian and the other French. |
