| Traffic wardens employed by Madrid council fined several official cars parked in a bus lane opposite the new Equality ministry headquarters on the calle Alcalá in Madrid yesterday while the new minister - Bibiana Aído - whose vehicle was among those targeted, was inside being sworn in.
Among those attending Ms Aído's investiture were government first vice-president, María Teresa Fernández de la Vega, Development minister, Magdalena Alvarez, the director of the Women's Institute, Rosa Peris, and anti-Domestic Violence campaigner, Encarnación Orozco.
