A 38 year old man is fighting for his life at the 12 de Octubre Hospital in Madrid after being shot several times in a pub in Boadilla del Monte during the early hours of this morning.

Two other men (21 and 38) were much less seriously injured and are being treated for leg injuries at the Puerta del Hierro Hospital.

The incident occurred at around 1.15am this morning at a pub on the Avenida del Generalísimo.

A police investigation has been launched to clarify the circumstances leading up to the shooting, which are unclear at this stage.
