The drivers of two lorries which collided shortly before 7.30am this morning inside Negrón tunnel on the AP-66 toll motorway near Pola de Lena, both escaped with minor injuries.
The accident, and subsequent blaze, temporarily closed the 4km-long tunnel, which is right on the border of Asturias and Castilla León, while traffic was diverted along the N-630 freeway, which runs parallel to the motorway.
