A 36 year old British man was killed last night while paragliding in Cenes de la Vega.
The man, whose identity has not been confirmed, but who is believed to be a high-ranking military officer, died at around 6am after crash landing near the town's sports centre.
Emergency medics arrived on the scene promptly, but were unable to revive the victim.
The photo shows investigators inspecting the man's equipment.
