Anti-terror judge Baltasar Garzón has ordered police to search the offices of the ANV party in Portugalete (Vizcaya) just five days after the arrest and incarceration of ANV mayoress for Mondragón, Inocencia Galparsoro, who is accused of collaborating with Basque terror group ETA.

On February 8th, Judge Garzón ordered that the political activities of both the nationalist ANV and Basque communist EHAK-PCTV parties be suspended for three years, and the Supreme Tribunal is currently investigating whether there are sufficient grounds for both parties to be declared illegal.
