| With the title race already decided and little else at stake, Iker Casillas and Víctor Valdés will be desperate to keep clean sheets in the second Real-Barça 'classic' of the season in Madrid tonight as both are in the running for this season's Zamora trophy for the meanest goalkeeper in the league.
Although both have conceded the same number of goals (31), the fact that Casillas has played one game more (35 vs Valdés's 34), means that his average goals per game quotient (0.89 vs 0.91) is fractionally lower.
While the Real number one has never won the coveted trophy, Valdés's first taste of success came at the end of the 04-05 season when he let in just 25 goals in 35 outings. |
