The torrential rain lashing southern Spain today has caused localised flooding across Cáceres province in Extremadura.
The occupants of several stranded vehicles, including a school bus packed with children, are reported to be safe and well after being rescued earlier today from a flooded minor road near Trujillo by teams of fire-fighters and Red Cross volunteers.
