28 year old María Luisa PH has been fined €57.14 euros for touching her hair while driving.

She was stopped by regional police traffic officers who thought she was using her mobile phone, but though she was not even carrying one, she was fined anyway - for not having both hands on the wheel.

"The very least they should do is warn us, send us a list of the things you can be fined for while driving," complained María Luisa, who says she is considering an appeal.

The incident occurred on the C-155 near Sabadell (Barcelona) on April 19th.
