| Only four of the almost three hundred passengers travelling on board two trains involved in a minor collision on Barcelona's Vallés line this morning, were injured.
The accident occurred at around 8.45am when one of the trains shunted into the back of a second train that had stopped at a red light between Les Planes and Floresta stations.
None of the injured were seriously hurt, but they were taken to health centres in Sant Cugat del Valles and Floresta where they were treated for minor cuts and bruises.
The rest of the passengers were transferred to two trains sent out to pick them up.
A spokesman for the regional train service (FGC), Francesc Balagué, confirmed that an internal inquiry has been launched to understand the cause of the crash. |
