A Nou Camp spokesman has confirmed that Gianluca Zambrotta has signed for Inter Milan for €9 million euros up front, with the possibility of a further two million depending on the Italian club's performance in the Champions League over the next few seasons.

Currently on international duty with Italy, the full-back will sign a four-year contract that will not expire until June 30th 2012.

Zambrotta was signed along with his Juventus team-mate, Lilian Thuram, for €14 million euros in the summer of 2006, since when the Catalan giants have won nothing.
