Mallorcan rookie, Jorge Lorenzo, is recovering well after skin-graft surgery for an injury sustained during qualifying for last weekend's Cataluña MotoGP, and is on course to participate in the eighth race of the season, at Donington Park next Sunday week (June 22nd).

Lorenzo will receive further treatment on his damaged finger at the Dexeus Clinic in Barcelona next Monday after which he will fly to London to begin pre-race preparations.

Lorenzo, who broke both ankles during practice for the Chinese MotoGP at the start of last month, made a great start to his first season in the 500cc class, winning the Portuguese MotoGP on his third outing after finishing on the podium in both of his first two races.
