| It has been confirmed that the five casualties of a traffic accident yesterday evening were a married couple and their three children, four of whom died.
The only survivor was very badly injured, and was airlifted by helicopter to León Hospital.
It seems that the driver of the BMW involved lost control of the vehicle during an attempted overtaking manoeuvre on the N-120 Logroño-Vigo freeway near the town of Hospital de Órbigo (León).
The car left the road, then ploughed into the verge before ending up back on the carriageway upside-down on its roof.
The four that died were trapped inside the wreckage and had to be cut free by firemen while the only survivor was thrown clear. |
