A 25 day old baby boy died in Olot (Girona) late last night after his father forgot to take him out of his carry-cot before loading it into the boot of his car.

Not realising his mistake until arriving at his destination, the man immediately took his unconscious son to Olot's Sant Jaume Hospital though medics were unable to revive him.
