| A 19-year-old Portuguese youth is in custody after confessing to stabbing his 18-year-old girlfriend to death early this morning.
It seems that the couple, who had been together for some time, were on the verge of splitting up.
The incident occurred at around 5.20am as the couple were chatting in the boy's car that was parked on a piece of wasteland near the water purification plant on the outskirts of the girl's home town - Villamayor de la Armuña (Salamanca).
Her killer moved to the nearby town of Ledesma around two years ago. |
