| With Libya celebrating its national day, Expo 2008 smashed its daily attendance record last Saturday with 87,238 visitors, nearly four thousand more than the previous record set on Saturday, June 28th.
The 'Iceberg' spectacle attracted the most interest - with 25,000 visitors - followed by 'El Hombre Vertiente' with 10,420.
With respect to the national pavilions, Angola's proved the most popular with nearly 45,000 visitors, followed by Morocco's (27,400) and Qatar's (24,672). |
