The body of a 17-year-old British holidaymaker who disappeared yesterday has been found at the bottom of a dried-up riverbed not far from a National Police station in Adeje, southern Tenerife.

He was reported missing by his fellow travelling companions when he failed to return after spending the day alone.

Autopsy results will confirm cause of death, but police believe that he died accidentally.
