| Young Basque separatist vandals are blamed for placing a homemade incendiary device outside the front door of the home of a Basque regional police officer in Barakaldo (Vizcaya).
The firebomb, which consists of a bottle of inflammable liquid, an aerosol can and a firework, was found intact at around 11am by a cleaning woman.
It was neutralised and removed for analysis without it being necessary to evacuate any of the surrounding properties.
The regional officer targeted, it seems, did not sleep at home last night. |
