| Police in La Rioja are hunting for a local businessman (LB) last seen ten days ago withdrawing money from a cash machine in the company of an unidentified individual, who was driving the missing man's car.
The car has since been found parked up, with all LB's documentation inside, in Nestares, a small village around 5km from Torrecilla, where LB has part shares in a fish farm, and where he has been living for the past twelve months.
As a precautionary measure, LB's bank accounts have been frozen, which caused a slight administrative hiccough when his children started the new school year, but which was promptly resolved by the regional education authorities. |
