A two-year-old toddler spent around three quarters of an hour wandering aimlessly through the streets of Arona yesterday after escaping from the 'El Duende Verde' nursery school without any of the staff realising.

He was eventually taken under the wing of a very responsible 10-year-old boy, who took him to a bar near the Post Office, where they took care of him until the arrival of the Local Police, who eventually reunited him with his parents.
