| A 67-year-old woman died and her 74-year-old husband is seriously ill in hospital as a result of a fire that started at a dental clinic next to their home at around 7.30am yesterday morning on the calle Almendralejo in Mérida.
Both were rushed to hospital suffering from smoke inhalation, but the woman died later of heart and lung failure.
Her husband remains unconscious in the intensive care unit. |
