|  Using 355 kilos of toasted almonds, 90 kilos of honey and 55 kilos of sugar, the Turron Association of Xixona now have a place in the record books when they unveiled their creation at a food fair in San Sebastian.
Painstakingly assembled overnight, the huge slab of turron finally measured over 33 metres, and sources close to the Guinness Organization revealed that Enrique Garrigos of the Association, was now assured of his place inside the publication. |
