| Following her latest court appearance yesterday, it would appear that Maria Jose Carrascosa, the Valencian lawyer who has been in jail in New Jersey for over two years, is to be released next April.
The next stage for Ms Carrascosa is to attend a hearing next February, where she will face nine charges - eight of which refer to the custody of her daughter and the ninth refers to her refusal to hand over her daughter to her American father Peter Innes.
It is now believed that changes in the law will mean that Ms Carrascosa will be freed and equally that her daughter will remain in Valencia until she is eighteen, despite the objections voiced by Mr Innes. |
