| According to a report on Cadena Ser radio, there is a 99.5% probability that Fernando Alonso will join the Ferrari team for the start of the 2010 season.
It claims that the agreement between the two parties "is not only verbal" and that his appointment will be made public just before the Italian Grand Prix in Monza next September.
Contradicting a report in yesterday's Gazzetta dello Sport that said that Alonso would be joining Ferrari in 2011, Cadena Ser also claims that the Italian team have been trying to sign the Asturian two-times world champion in time for next season to replace Kimi Raikkonen, and that Germany's Sebastian Vettel will be brought in for 2010 to substitute Felipe Massa. |
