| At least thirty people were injured at a Three Kings parade in Sestao (Vizcaya) last night when a spectator threw a firecracker at one of the horses taking part, causing it to bolt.
Nineteen were taken to San Eloy Hospital, a further eleven to Cruces Hospital while many other received treatment at Markonzaga health centre.
The incident occurred at the start of the parade on the Alameda de Las Llanas near an area known locally as the Casco arches.
None of those injured were seriously hurt and the parade went ahead as planned albeit it after a slight delay. |
