| Yesterday, Francisco Camps, the president of the Valencian Community, held a meeting with his Murcian counterpart and fellow conservative, Ramon Luis Valcárcel, after which both men appeared at a press conference at which they demanded that president Zapatero break his silence and make a statement conerning the Tajo/Segura river diversion.
Also during their appearance before the press, both men accused the president of the Spanish government of creating uncertainty and confrontation between regions, and urged Mr Zapatero to settle the question that is vital for the agricultural and touristic future of the eastern and southeastern Levante coast. |
