25 people were injured last night when a tornado hit the city of Málaga causing extensive damage to property, windows and vehicles.
Most of those injured had been cut by flying glass, although branches and advertising hoardings ripped up by winds of up to 180km/hour were also to blame for some of the injuries.
Two people were injured when the roof of the bus station was ripped off and a wall separating it from the railway line collapsed onto the line causing a short circuit.
The tornado was not limited to Málaga alone. Five people were injured in Estepona when a circus tent and a number of trees were blown down by the ferocious winds.
