|  LOCAL pressure group Teruel Existe held a massive demonstration in the city yesterday clamouring for the construction of a motorway to Cuenca.
Spokesman Manuel García announced his satisfaction at the turnout, which amounted to more than 2,000 people.
Numerous politicians, union leaders, residents and the Chamber of Commerce in Teruel joined the march for th A-40 to be built.
García says the government 'continually delays' the project, meaning the only way to reach Teruel at present from Cuenca is across country and then taking the N-330, or by heading south as far as Utiel and cutting through the Rincón de Ademuz. |
